"With a massive population of more than 200 million inhabitants and low teledensity, Indonesia is a market with huge growth potential for telecom services," said Lau Chi Weng, senior analyst, Asia/Pacific Telecommunications. "However, it is also a market that has been beset by challenges in terms of political and economic uncertainty. But despite these challenges, strong domestic demand and technology advancements have ensured that the overall telecommunications growth in Indonesia has not been completely derailed."
